Precision
This is the most important. In your work you will deal with files, job numbers, information from practices, materials, deadlines, machines and documentation. Small details matter here.
We are looking for a new colleague for our digitally minded dental laboratory, for dental CNC, dental 3D printing and laboratory workflow support tasks.
This position can be a really good opportunity for those who like to work precisely, in an organised way and with a sense of responsibility, who are interested in modern technologies, and who would be glad to learn in a specialised, digital dental laboratory environment.
A dental technician qualification is an advantage, but not a requirement.
What matters to us now is not only the qualification you arrive with, but how precise, reliable and technically minded you are, and how well you can pay attention to detail.
If you are an entry-level or young dental technician and would like to develop towards digital production - milling and 3D printing - this position can be a good entry point.
If you are not a dental technician but have already worked with machines, software, digital systems, production or administrative processes, it is also worth applying.
The role can be learned on the job, but it requires great precision and a sense of responsibility. We do not expect you to know everything on the first day, but it is important that you pay attention, ask questions, take notes and follow the processes you are taught exactly.
Your Dental Lab Kft. is a small, premium-minded digital dental laboratory in Budapest.
We work primarily with dentists, surgeons and practices involved in implantology.
A significant part of our work is built on digital workflows: digital impressions, CAD/CAM design, in-house milling, 3D printing, sintering, finishing and documented production processes.
We do not operate as a mass-production laboratory. Quality, predictability and professional standards matter to us, as does the fact that our workflows should not be ad hoc, but transparent and open to improvement.
In everyday work we deal with digital files, production software, milling machines, 3D printers, and zirconia, PMMA, wax, composite and printing materials.
In the background, many small, precisely executed steps are needed so that practices receive the finished work on time and in the right quality.
This is what we are looking for a new colleague for.
This is not a classic dental technician role, and it is not simple administration either.
The position relates to the laboratory's digital production processes. The tasks will include receiving incoming work, handling digital files, keeping in contact with practices and external partners, carrying out milling, preparing 3D prints, operating machines, monitoring materials, documentation, and helping with some of the laboratory's preparatory workflows.
The role can be learned on the job, but it is not for everyone.
We are looking for someone who does not get bored with details, does not rush, is not afraid to ask, and is able to follow a workflow precisely, step by step. Here even a small lapse of attention can cause delay, extra work or a production error, which is why precision is not an empty expectation but the foundation of the role.
It is important to us that workflows are transparent and traceable.
Therefore:
This is the most important. In your work you will deal with files, job numbers, information from practices, materials, deadlines, machines and documentation. Small details matter here.
It is important that you carry out what we entrust to you precisely and consistently. If something is not clear, ask. If you notice a mistake, flag it. If you are unsure about something, do not guess.
We do not expect you to know everything on the first day. We do expect you to pay attention, take notes, ask, practise and develop step by step.
You will work with milling machines, 3D printers, software and digital files. You do not need to be an IT specialist or an engineer, but it is important that machines and digital systems do not put you off.
We would like you to understand why a given workflow is built the way it is. The aim is not only that it should be done, but that it should be produced precisely, traceably and reproducibly.
We are a small laboratory, so it is important that we can rely on each other. You will have independent tasks, but running the laboratory is teamwork.
(if you are a dental technician)
Alongside the digital production tasks, where needed you will help with:
The aim is not for you to be independent in every area straight away. The aim is that, through gradual training, you can carry out more and more processes safely, precisely and responsibly.
We support you with online learning materials, professional books, internal checklists and by passing on our own experience, and we also support your participation in courses. The aim is that you can confidently deliver the same high quality again and again.
We recommend it to an entry-level or young dental technician who would like to develop in the direction of digital production rather than classic laboratory tasks.
We recommend it to a technically minded applicant who would be glad to work with dental machines, software and 3D printing.
We also recommend it to someone with IT experience who is at home with cloud-based software, digital file handling and online systems, and would be glad to put that knowledge to use in a practical role with tangible results.
We also recommend it to a precise, systematically minded person who has worked in another field so far, but would be glad to learn in a specialised, modern professional environment.
